Matrix gives you control over information you enter, Apple Health categories you authorize, and optional processing you choose. This page explains how to exercise those choices and request deletion.
Apple Health
Allow, decline, or revoke each requested category in Apple Health settings. Revoking access stops future reads but does not delete data already imported.
Access, export & correction
Request eligible personal information in a usable format and ask us to correct inaccurate account information.
Account & data deletion
Request deletion of your account and associated records, uploads, imported health data, and AI history, subject to lawful exceptions.
Consent & appeal
Withdraw consent for optional processing and appeal a denied privacy request where applicable. Withdrawal does not invalidate earlier lawful processing.
How to request deletion
- Start deletion from Matrix Account settings when that control is available in your version. If you cannot access the app, email privacy@matrixhealth.app.
- Confirm the scope and irreversible effect before deletion proceeds.
- Complete proportionate identity verification; Matrix should not request new health information for verification.
- We delete or deidentify the account and covered associated data from active systems and instruct applicable service providers to do the same, except information retained for security, fraud prevention, transactions, disputes, legal holds, or other lawful requirements.
- Receive written confirmation, or an explanation of a lawful exception and any available appeal right, within the period required by applicable law.
Apple subscription cancellation is separate
Deleting a Matrix account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription. Manage or cancel subscriptions separately through your Apple account settings. You do not need to wait for a subscription period to end before requesting deletion.
Public contact is email-only. Send privacy and deletion requests to privacy@matrixhealth.app. No website form collects privacy requests, and email is not appropriate for emergencies.
Email privacyAuthorized agents and verification
An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law. Matrix may request proof of authorization and direct verification from the account owner. Verification records should be limited and retained only as necessary to document compliance.
Apple Health choices
Changing Apple Health permission does not close your Matrix account. Deleting Matrix does not by itself change Apple Health settings. Review the separate Apple Health explanation and Apple’s Health permission controls.
Do not sell or share
JKB Ventures LLC does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Matrix does not use Apple Health information for advertising.
Independent consumer boundary
Your consumer account, records, membership, privacy requests, and deletion request are separate from any Matrix business product or service. A business account or entitlement does not create, unlock, or delete a Matrix consumer account.
